I met the gorgeous Marissa a few weeks ago for a beauty session – a session where we got her some images she can use both personally and professionally. She had so many ideas for her session & I was thrilled we could make them all come to life! We even got a wooden rope swing to hang from a tree branch as part of the session! The weather was absolutely gorgeous which made from some amazing light. Marissa is stunningly beautiful and was so much fun to be around. She has chosen which images to share with you guys, and I think she picked some amazing ones! Here’s a tiny peek into her session!

Nathan, Annie & Ruth ~ Maternity & Family Session ~ Dallas | Plano Family Photographer

What a perfect day we had for this session! I met Nathan, Annie & Ruth just over a week ago for an early morning session. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! The sun was shining, the temperature was pleasant and there wasn’t a cloud in sight! Their session was a combination of sorts. We bundled together a maternity, family & 18 month session. I truly loved meeting these guys & loved spending time getting to know them during the session. They will be welcoming a sweet baby boy into their family later this summer! Ruth was a little shy at first, but she quickly warmed up to me and then went non-stop! She was SO fast!! I had so much fun watching her play and chasing her around. Annie is absolutely stunning & is a very beautiful pregnant mommy. The love this family has for each other was very obvious & I can’t wait to see their little boy when he arrives! Olivia ~ Newborn Session ~ Dallas | Southlake Newborn Photographer

This beautiful baby girl was such a joy to photograph! I met her and her sweet family a few weeks ago for her newborn session. Olivia was over two weeks old when we did her session, but she was the perfect little subject! After she got her tummy nice & full, she slept and let me move her all around. Her older sister was very gentle with her & even gave her little kisses. So cute! Of course their mommy had cute little outfits for them to wear which was the perfect touch. I loved spending the morning with Olivia & her family! Here are just a few of my favorites from her newborn session.

Tobin & Natasha ~ Anytime Session ~ Dallas | Deep Ellum Engagement Photographer

Over Memorial Day weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting Tobin & Natasha for an anytime session. If you are in the area, you might remember that it was not just raining, but pouring rain on Saturday. Of course, it started raining on me as I drove to their session. Somehow, we managed to get extremely lucky and timed their session between thunderstorms! Tobin & Natasha came to visit Dallas from St. Louis. Natasha is a fellow photographer in the St. Louis area and she wanted some updated shots for her website. They were also celebrating their one year wedding anniversary! Needless to say, they had so much to be celebrating. We spent their session walking around Deep Ellum which always has tons of different textures, colors & funky art work. I loved getting to spend a little time with them & chat about our shared love of photography. Here’s a little peek into their session!

I love getting to watch little ones as they grow and I’m always amazed at how much they change in just a few short months! I met Ferdinand, Mary Kim & Olivia last November for a family session. When they booked another session, I was thrilled! We met a few weeks ago for their session in Richardson, and I can’t get over how much Olivia has changed in six months! She is SO tall and starting to look more & more like a toddler! Mary Kim’s parents & brother were also able to be there for the session, so we were able to get some great photos of all of them. Ferdinand brought a bubble gun which made for some super fun photos of Olivia! Here are just a few of my favorites from their latest family session!

Somehow in the busy mix of May sessions, I forgot to blog sweet Kate’s two year session! I met Kate last year for her one year session and then met her new baby brother just a few weeks ago. I didn’t get to see Kate at her brother’s session, so I was really looking forward to seeing how much she had changed over a year. She has somehow gotten even cuter! We started the session with a few family photos and then focused on Kate. She has so much personality and kept me laughing throughout the session. I am absolutely in love with the Matilda Jane dresses that her mommy dressed her in. This little family is just so darn cute and wonderful to be around! Here are just a few of my favorites from her session!

This post today is such a fun one! A few weeks ago, Ann hosted this beautiful vintage picnic for her closest girl friends! She decided since she was planning so many intricate details that she should have a photographer to remember all of it. I was so happy to be able to see all of her hard work come together so perfectly! The event was so detail filled and all of her attendees had such a great time. Ann was the perfect host and really did a fabulous job planning, crafting & cooking for the vintage picnic! These are just a few of my favorites from the day!

Chloe ~ Newborn Session ~ Dallas Newborn Baby Photographer

I met this precious new baby girl a few weeks ago at her newborn session! You might even remember her parents from their maternity session. Chloe decided she was ready to make her grand entrance a little earlier than they were expecting, but she is healthy & perfect! She did so wonderfully during the session. She slept almost the entire time, no matter how much noise we made. I’m so glad I get to follow Chloe throughout her first year and watch her grow! She is a beautiful little baby!

Jasmine is a Class of 2013 senior at JJ Pearce High School. She is absolutely gorgeous & so fun to be around! Jasmine & Hannah had their senior portrait sessions done together and it was so much fun! We had the perfect weather that day, which says a lot since it’s been so rainy lately! Jasmine had so many great outfits for the session. She will be graduating very soon and heading off to the fabulous University of Texas! Here’s a tiny peek into her senior session!

We’re kicking things off this week with this gorgeous Class of 2013 Senior from JJ Pearce High School! Meet the beautiful Hannah! We did a joint senior session with her sweet friend Jasmine and also did some of the two of them together. Hannah is such a sweetheart and had some of the cutest outfits for her session. She will be graduating very very soon and heading off to college in sunny California! It was so fun meeting her & hearing about about her dreams and ambitions for life.
